Medium count cotton yarns require good penetration, hairiness suppression and also increased tensile strength. Simultaneously, retention of elongation and flexibility are equally important parameters to achieve high loom-shed efficiency.

INFISIZE N50 is a ready to use size mix and specially designed keeping above requirements in view. The product offers high tensile strength due to its high cohesion and adhesion. Because of low molecular weight synthetic binders and appropriate viscosity of starches, it offers required penetration and coating.

INFISIZE N50 can be used for sizing on medium count cotton yarns of 40s & 50s. The product is suitable for high speed shuttleless looms. To prepare size, add INFISIZE N50 in cold water under continuous high speed stirring. Continue stirring till the suspension is lump free. Raise the temperature to >95° C. Maintain temperature at least for 45 minutes under continuous low speed stirring. The product can also be cooked in pressure cooker. Transfer the solution to storage and add required lubricant/softener. Continue stirring for 10 minutes before use.
