INFIZYME

MTAA

INFIZYME MTAA is a preparation of amylase enzyme. It finds application for desizing of textile at medium temperature. The enzyme will randomly hydrolyze 1,4-glucosidic linkages in gelatinized starch/modified starch into soluble dextrin and oligosaccharides.

Depending on activity, INFIZYME MTAA is available in various grades.

Recommendations

Process temperature:

  • Operational Range 40° – 75° C
  • Optimal Range 45°-70° C
  • pH: 5.5 to 7.0
  • Operational Range 5.0 – 7.5
  • O Optimal Range 5.5 – 7.0
  • Wetting agents, Scouring agent and non-ionic detergents can be added to further assist the process. These help to improve penetration & swelling of size.
  • Lubricants are generally recommended during desizing to avoid formation of crease marks and streaks.
  • Store in a cool place
